BARK, a social networking site for dog owners tapped PUSH to develop their online identity. When we got into the project, we realized that their identity needed more than the tradition executions but required a design language and system for engaging users.

The PUSH team created an illustrated logo that was friendly, playful, and was absent of any the heavy techy’ness that you would expect from a site like this. People fall in love with their dogs, not their computers.

The Bark visual system draws from the illustrated, iconic, and the symbolic to create a consistent visual language for the users.

Rip, cut, and crumple your way through the Chicago agency Bagby’s site about their creative process. Easter egg animations of lions, tigers and bears–oh my!

When Bagby approached PUSH, they were known for cutting edge campaigns and concepts for the likes of Sony and Miller.

They approached us with a simple question – “Can we make our site feel like the process we go through ourselves to achieve great work?” The result was a site that tears, draws, and folds it’s way onto the screen. The creative process isn’t clean, and often requires you getting your hands dirty to get something breakthrough.Playful easter-egg animations punctuate the site with surreal pigeons wearing suits, metropolis eating rabbits, and walking bonsai plants.

visit site…

Executive Producer of Law & Order Rick Eid turned to PUSH when starting his new online entertainment property Bitter Lawyer. With over 20 years of writing and producing experience in Hollywood, and Rick was well positioned to bring the video production to life, but had never done anything online in the entertainment market.

Rick had a vision to launch an entertainment website focusing primarily on lawyers and law students, a market comprising approximately 1.5 million people (North America). The material is irreverent, comedic, yet constructive. Most importantly, Rick wanted it to be written and produced for them – and by them, since the creators are ex-attorneys.

After a short discovery session, we quickly realized that Bitter needed PUSH’s collaboration on branding Bitter Lawyer as much as they needed a traditional website design and build.

PUSH partnered with the Bitter team to create a unique identity that spoke to the culture of the “big city law firm” and the long hours it’s associates endure.PUSH also designed and built a site that the Bitter team could maintain as the entertainment property grew. With over and average of 200% increase in traffic daily it’s first month after launch, expect to see new Bitter sites launching soon.
